Após alguns meses sem se apresentar ao vivo - o último show havia sido em dezembro do ano passado - The Cure iniciou sua turnê pela América do Norte, onde não tocava havia sete anos, com um show no Smoothie King Center de New Orleans realizado nesta quarta-feira, 10 de maio.

A banda apresentou um set de 29 músicas, incluindo algumas que devem estar no novo álbum, "Songs Of A Lost World", previsto para sair ainda neste ano: "Alone", "And Nothing Is Forever", "A Fragile Thing" e "I Can Never Say Goodbye", além de duas outras que não eram tocadas ao vivo há 36 anos: "A Thousand Hours" do "Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me" de 1987 e "Six Different Ways" do "The Head On The Door" de 1985.
